3 Easy Oyster Mushroom Recipes

Hi, guys! I realized many of you liked my blanched spinach and bean sprouts meal prep. So today, I’d like to share another healthy and easy preparation with my favorite meaty-nutty ingredient, oyster mushrooms!

As you know, I’m Korean. So, I mostly have my meals in a traditional Korean way, which consists of one bowl of cooked rice and several small side dishes, called banchan in Korean. I think that our banchan is very similar to your meal prep method. Because we make several banchan for about 1-week worth and have them alone or with another main dish. Doesn’t it sound familiar? 🙂

As I don’t want to get bored of having the same dishes every day, I use the blanching method for many of my banchan. Once I blanch my favorite vegetables in advance, I can whip up different meals with any sauces on my hand. In this video, I’ll show you 3 Easy Oyster Mushroom Recipes with sesame seeds, miso and soy sauce. The reason why I chose these three authentic sauces is that I love them, of course, but above all, they are the most popular ones among those who like Asian foods.

I do hope you find my recipe easy for you and try them by yourself to widen your low FODMAP options, just like I do with yours. These 3 sauces give the freshly cooked mushrooms umami flavor you taste in your favorite Asian restaurant, so whichever you choose, I bet you will love it! I tried mentioning all my tips for you in this video. Enjoy!
