Hi, guys! Today, I’ll be sharing 3 types of egg burgers which are very simple, tasty and perfect for your breakfast or lunch! In this video, I’ll be showing you sunny-side up, scrambled eggs and egg salad burgers. They all are not overly heavy, but just enough to make you full and satisfied!
Last month, I visited Eggslut in LA several times, which I’d longed to try for years. I tried all the menus, and I did enjoy them! I thought that their sandwiches could be modified for a low FODMAP and super easy to make.
I did want to share these delicious and amazingly FODMAP-friendly burgers with you guys, so I’ve done some practice to make them in my kitchen since I returned from LA. I had much inspiration from Eggslut, but I’ll be doing little tweaks to their existing recipes to make these burgers more low FODMAP, and I really love my approach. Whichever egg type you choose, I bet you’ll love it!
Here are my tips for you.
1. When it comes to bread, I highly recommend brioche buns. In my opinion, the primary key to these egg burgers is the combination of tender and buttery brioche buns and soft eggs. However, you can use gluten-free or dairy-free bread if you’re avoiding gluten and milk.
2. I’ll be showing 2 types of sauces for the sunny-side up and scrambled egg burgers. One is just simple ketchup along with a slice of tomato, and the other is my spicy mayo recipe. And you’re very welcome to switch two to your liking.
I hope you enjoy my version of egg burgers!
