Low FODMAP Sticky Soy Sauce Chicken Wings

Do you ever find yourself craving sweet-umami-flavored chicken? If so, this Sticky Soy Sauce Chicken Wing recipe will hit the spot. It’s absolutely tasty!

Above all, this recipe is perfect for people at the low FODMAP elimination phase. It’s free of garlic and gluten yet tastes delicious.

For this recipe, all you need is 4 ingredients; chicken wings, garlic-infused oil, cane sugar and soy sauce. That’s it! With garlic infused oil and 1 Tbsp of cane sugar, you can once again enjoy the aroma of sweetened garlic. Plus, soy sauce is addictively delicious!

If you are like me and prefer your food spicy, chili or mixed spices can be added. In this video, I’ll show you how to blend all these ingredients and customize the recipe to your own taste. For example, you might prefer to use fish sauce instead of soy sauce and those who like heat, can increase the chili to the level they prefer. This flexibility is sure to please, and you can vary the flavors to develop your own creative sauce!

Last but not least, I highly recommend having it with pickled radish (from my recipe of Tuna Gimbap) and a bottle of cold beer. This is the traditional way for Koreans to enjoy chicken. The pickled radish is a little palate cleanser and the combination of chicken and beer will send you to heaven!

(According to Monash University, beer is allowed up to 375 ml.)

Enjoy!
